Divessence.com was born in 2003 initially as a web project for a class. It was my very first real website, designed entirely by me, and all things considered - it was pretty primitive and clunky to update. The site was entirely image and table based. I knew little to nothing at all about web development, usability or otherwise. The site accomplished it's goal however. Using it as an online portfolio helped me obtain a couple of jobs out of college, and got me on my way to learning more and more about web design and development. Fast forward a bit. Probably around 2005 I decided that I couldn't take updating my website in it's current iteration. I had to rebuild the entire thing in order to add projects as nearly everything was image based. So as a quick fix I made an entirely new portfolio - not very sophisticated - but easier to add new items to it. Then divessence.com sat, for another couple years. Which brings us to today. Today we are moving webservers. Seeing as I have a number of copies of my website on the old server, all of which I'm not entirely happy with, rebuilding it seemed to be the way to go. So here we are, and here's the new Divessence.com Chances are I'll finish this and ignore it for another couple years, but at least it's getting a little attention now right?
